MTN introduces a new daily/weekly data plan
Other network providers are yet to catch up with MTN in terms of network coverage. But while they offer a super-fast internet connection, their data plans are relatively high compared to Airtel and Glo.
However, a lot has changed since the Minister of communication, and Digital Economy, Dr. Isa Ali Ibrahim, gave a directive to all service providers to adjust the price of their data plans. Now MTN gives you 4GB data for N1,000, but that’s if you’re eligible. To check if you’re eligible, dial 13165#, which is also the subscription code.
And just a few weeks after the introduction of the new bundle, MTN is back with some amazing daily data plan. With the New daily MTN data plans, you get 1GB with just N350, while N500 gives you 2GB. Meanwhile, Airtel also offers you the same 2GB for the N500, but it will last for just 24 hours, unlike MTN that lets the data run for two days.
More interesting is the new weekly data plan. MTN will give you a whopping 6GB data for just N1000 for seven days. To get started, dial *131# and follow the on-screen instructions.
However, when choosing a data plan, we advise you to Subscribe to a plan that will be convenient for you. For heavy internet users, it’s always a good decision going for Mega bundles, rather than a daily data plan.
