New Android Auto 8.5 stable starts rolling out

Google has released a new Android Auto update based on V8.5. The latest update is a stable build and brings the Coolwalk feature to more users globally.

Android Auto has been getting more attention from Google lately. Over the last few days, the tech company has opened a beta program and released Android Auto 8.6 beta, which introduced the split-screen feature to many users. And while only a select few got the update, a new Android Auto 8.5 stable update has been released for the public.

The new update has a build number V8.5.624554 and weighs about 35MB. And for the first time, Google has released an x86 version of the apk.

As expected, the latest update is to improve performance and resolve issues. It introduced the Coolwalk feature that lets you have more than one app running simultaneously. However, it seems only beta testers got the feature, but you can join by following this link.
