It’s commendable the support Xiaomi has given to their flagship phone of 2017. A device that arrived with Android 7.1.2 Nougat and has received two major updates – Android Oreo and Pie. The device already got MIUI 11 update, but Android 10 for Xiaomi Mi 6 is a big doubt, in fact, it’s not going to happen.
Xiaomi only delivers two major update to their flagship phones, and so far, the company has finalized its share of the bargain with Mi 6 when they rolled out Android Pie last year. However, a new update for Mi 6 is available, and it comes with a video toolbox and a focus mode. Below is the full Changelog of the new Mi 6 update.
New Mi 6 update Changelog – ( MIUI 11.0.6.0 PCAMIXM)
Status Bar, Notification Shade
- Fix: couldn’t open notification settings in the notification shade in second space
- Fix: couldn’t open notification shade in some cases
Others
- Fix: image overlapped in scrolling screenshot
The update also added some improvement to the system and also fixed some bugs. But unfortunately, it fails to bring much anticipated Android 10 for Xiaomi Mi 6. We don’t think Android 10 for Xiaomi Mi 6 will ever arrive, you might need to upgrade to a new phone.
