The new Poco phone has been in the news for some time now, but unclear what the phone will answer. Early reports claims the phone will be a rebranded Redmi 9C, and that seems to be correct as a new report surface.
On the Bluetooth Launch Studio, a new Poco phone, dubbed POCO C3, has been certified. The listing shows other Redmi phones and a new device named Redmi 9AT.
According to the model number, “M2006C3MI”, the device has been in development since last month. Also, it’s similar to the device launched under the Redmi 9 series, and as such, we could see another rebadged Redmi phone.
That’s not surprising, though, given the event of the past. Since the Pocophone F1 arrival in 2018, POCO has turned to rebadge Redmi phones, even though it claims to be an independent brand from the parent company, Xiaomi. Thus far, we have seen the Redmi K30 debut as POCO X2, which is the company’s first high-end device before they introduced the POCO M2 Pro – Redmi Note 9 Pro with perks.
The company has also announced the successor of the popular Pocophone F1, dubbed the POCO F2 Pro. It’s no surprise that they now seek to add an entry-level device, and from reports, the device will answer POCO C3.

Unfortunately, for now, it’s only the name that has been revealed, but given that the device has a similar model number to the Redmi 9 series, we’re expecting a 6.53-inch display, a Mediatek Octa-Core processor, a massive battery, and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
There’s will be a triple rear camera arrangement of a primary 13MP shooter. The device will come in at least three colors and will hope to learn about that and more, especially the price, in the coming weeks.
