The past couple of weeks have seen the Redmi Note 9 Pro receive the MIUI 12 update in some regions. It was expected that the update, in a few days, will start rolling out in other regions. But typical of Xiaomi, they will always surprise you, especially when it comes to rolling out updates.
Before the MIUI 12 update started arriving in India, the global users were getting a stable MIUI 11 build. A couple of days ago, the company started sending out a stable MIUI 12 update to Redmi Note 9S in Turkey. And all this while, the EEA version on these phones is yet to receive any of the updates.
We were expecting that the next Redmi Note 9 Pro update in Europe will be the much-anticipated MIUI 12, but Xiaomi had a different plan. The company has now released a stable MIUI 11 update, which brings the monthly security fix.
The update is arriving with a version number, MIUI 11.0.6.0 QJZEUXM, and will progressively appear on all eligible devices. However, you can follow the download link below for the recovery ROM, which you can flash using the recovery method
As for when the MIUI 12 update will be available in Europe, there’s currently no ETA, but it should be the next update that will arrive on the device. It’ll probably arrive with next month’s security patch build, but regardless, we’ll keep you updated. For now, you should follow the download link below and get the new Redmi Note 9 Pro update in Europe.
