Redmi Note 9S starts receiving the stable MIUI 12 update

A couple of days ago, Xiaomi started rolling out a stable MIUI 12 update to Redmi Note 9 Pro in India. The update was believed to be arriving on the Note 9S as well, but it turns out only the former got the much-anticipated update. However, since the duo has the same development, it was only a matter of time before a stable MIUI 12 update for the Redmi Note 9S will start rolling out.

According to the latest report, Xiaomi has now released the update. At the time of publishing this post, the Turkish users are the ones getting the update, which is arriving with a build number, MIUI 12.0.1.0 QJWTRXM. It’s based on Android 10 and will progressively appear on all eligible devices.

Coming along with the update is all the features of MIUI 12. However, some of the features need manual activation, like the Super Wallpaper and New Control Center. Meanwhile, the update is a beta stable build, and as such, only some selected users will get it, and depending on their feedback, a wider rollout might be initiated.
