Redmi Note 9 Pro Android 11 remains a limited rollout as new update start arriving in India

Xiaomi, a couple of weeks ago, surprised everyone when they started rolling out a stable MIUI 12 based Android 11 update to the Redmi Note 9 Pro users in India. The public rollout of the update is yet to commence, which means the testing is still ongoing. However, it looks like the update will soon start rolling out to more users as the Chinese company starts fortifying those units in India with a new MIUI 12 update.

More users are likely to start receiving the Redmi Note 9 Pro Android 11 update in the coming weeks. Even the company announced a couple of days ago that the update is coming to more devices very soon. Hence, you must download the new Redmi Note 9 Pro update to fortify your device for the Android 11 upgrade.

The new Redmi Note 9 Pro update is hitting eligible users with a version number, MIUI 12.0.2.0 QJWINXM. It weighs in at 377MB. As per the changelog, the update brings optimization for the control center layout in landscape mode, updated the Android security patch level to November 2020, and improved system security.

As usual, the build is only available for limited users for now, who will test it for bugs. It’s expected that in the next couple of days, more users will receive the update. However, we have added a link below this post for those who would like to side-load the ROM using the recovery method.
