Things have taken a positive turn for those using the Mi Mix 3 5G, which seems to have been forgotten, until recently. Although updates don’t arrive at the device as it should, it is probably a good start if it continues this way, considering how long the device went without any form of support. The device already received the stable MIUI 12 update a couple of weeks ago and is now getting a new stable update. Interestingly, it brought the November security patch and also improved the system security.
The new stable Mi Mix 3 5G update is arriving for the EEA users, with a version number, MIUI 12.0.2.0 PEMEUXM. It’s based on Android Pie still, and it doesn’t look like things will move from there. Meanwhile, the rollout, for now, is a limited release and will only arrive on a few selected devices for preview. In the absence of any critical bug, the public rollout is expected to commence in the coming days, and that will see the stable Mi Mix 3 5G update arrive on more phones.
Also, M Mix 3 is receiving a new stable update in Russia. It’s coming as MIUI 12.0.3.0 QEERUXM and will progressively arrive on eligible users in the coming days. Unlike the 5G version, the update brings the October security patch and improved the system security.
