Xiaomi is now sending out a new stable update to the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max users. The device, which is a higher version of the Note 9 Pro, last received an update months ago. It was the MIUI 12 update, which arrived as MIUI 12.0.1.0 QJXINXM. Now, the device joins the long list of Xiaomi phones that have received the November patch as a new update starts arriving for the device users in India.
Unfortunately, not everyone is going to receive the new stable Redmi Note 9 Pro Max update for now. Only a select few will receive the update, and from their feedback, the public might start receiving the update in the coming days. Meanwhile, the update has a version number, MIUI 12.0.2.0 QJXINXM, and weighs in at 367MB. It’s the second build since the MIUI 12 update and comes with the November security patch. The system security has been improved as well, while some minor bug got a fix. You can check for the update via system updates (Updater App), but it’s likely still on the way.
The Redmi Note 9 Pro Max, is also expected to start receiving the Android 11 update very soon. According to the Xiaomi executive, the company is working on making the update available for more Mi and Redmi phones. And given that the Redmi Note 9 Pro already received the update, it will be time for a wider rollout, and that will see the update arrive for Note 9 Pro Max users.
