It seems Xiaomi is currently fortifying all the devices in its stable ahead of the MIUI 12.5 upgrade. The update, which is still under testing, will arrive for stable ROM users in China from April. And luckily, the Redmi K20 will receive the update as well as the Mi 9T. Both phones are the same, only that the former is for the Indian market, while the latter sold globally.
Meanwhile, ahead of the upgrade, a new update for Redmi K20 has been released in India. It has a version number – MIUI 12.0.7.0 QFJINXM – and weighs in at 177MB. The build bumps the security patch level to January 2021, improved system security and stability, and fixed bugs. However, it’s still a limited rollout for now and might take some time before appearing on your device.
As for the Mi 9T, those in Russia are the ones receiving a new stable update. It’s also a limited rollout and will start seeding for the public in the coming days. The update will arrive as MIUI 12.0.3.0 QFJRUXM in a 185M package. It brings the January security patch and improves the system security.
If you wish to download the ROM, we have a link below this post. But that might return an error as it’s still a limited rollout. When that happens, give it a few days and try again or wait for the OTA.
