It is only a few weeks before the MIUI 12.5 starts rolling out. According to the official roadmap, the update will arrive on Xiaomi premium phones before making its way to mid-range and entry-level phones. Luckily, the POCO F2 Pro is among the first few phones to get the new iteration of MIUI. It is probably for that reason that Xiaomi has released a new update for the POCO F2 Pro globally. But as usual, only a few selected users will get the update for now for preview. After a successful beta preview, developers will start pushing the update to a wider population and more regions.
So far, the few that have received the new update affirmed it has a version number – MIUI 12.2.5.0 RJKMIXM – and weighs in at 546MB. It brings the February 2021 security patch to improve system security while fixing some minor bugs and optimizing system performance. The update also fortifies the device for a seamless transition to MIUI 12.5, and we recommend that you download and install the new update for the POCO F2 Pro when prompted.
The update is arriving via OTA and is meant to take some time before making it to all units. However, you can use the links below and download the update, but it might return an error. That would mean that the update is only limited to a few users, and you should wait for the public rollout. Of course, you can flash the ROM if you have a compatible TWRP Recovery installed or an authorized Mi Beta account.

Xiaomi has released a stable MIUI 12.5 update for the Indonesian POCO F2 Pro. The update is seeding with a version number – MIUI 12.5.1.0 RJKIDXM – along with features 9f the new MIUI OS. POCO F2 Pro is now receiving the much awaited MIUI 12.5 update. It comes with the necessary features while pushing the Android security patch level to June 2021 to increase system security and stability. The update, as expected, has optimized system performance, but failed to fix the third-party launcher compatibility issue. Download the ROM here.

The first MIUI 12.5 update for the POCO F2 Pro has been released. It’s the European units that are getting a stable MIUI 12.5.1.0 RJKEUXM update that weighs in at 979MB. So far, only the Chinese version of the POCO F2 Pro has received a stable MIUI 12.5 update. Xiaomi is currently pushing a new stable MIUI 12 update to the global variants ahead of the upgrade.
