Redmi Note 9 starts receiving a new update in Turkey and Europe
Redmi Note 9, now with a successor, continues to receive timely security patch updates, which is another thing Xiaomi is very good at. Luckily, those running the EEA and Turkish ROM are now receiving the update with the same changelog. Of course, the build number differs. Depending on the region, you will get the update with either of the software designation number below.
Meanwhile, it might take time before the new update for the Redmi Note 9 appears on your device. The update, for now, is only available to limited users that’ll preview it for bugs. It is expected to last for a few days, and if in the end there’s no bug, then the public will commence immediately. As for the OTA, you will receive a 675MB package if you’re in the EU. It will arrive with a version number – MIUI 12.0.9.0 QJOEUXM. The update has optimized the device performance, improved speed, app launch speed while multiple system features are more responsive. The Turkish users are receiving the same update, but with a version number – MIUI 12.0.6.0 QJOTRXM.
