Xiaomi is currently sending out a new Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite update in Europe ahead of the planned Android 11 upgrade. The device is eligible for a new OS update, which has since arrived for closed beta testers, alongside the MIUI 12.5 build. It’s the Chinese ROM variant (Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G), testing the update, but we expect a wider rollout very soon. However, the new update is for those in Europe and brings an updated security patch, improved system performance.
The update is rolling out for everyone, given that the fastboot ROM is available. However, it might still take time before it appears on your device due to the normal delay with OTA rollout. If you’d love to flash the ROM manually, we have added a link below this post. You can access both the recovery and Fastboot ROM via the link. The update has improved the system security having updated android security while fortifying the device for a seamless transition to Android 11.
Meanwhile, the update has a version number – MIUI 12.0.9.0 QJSEUXM – and the full recovery ROM weighs in at 2.48GB. The fastboot ROM is available for download in case you want a clean flash. You can check here for how to flash Fastboot ROM and follow this link for how to flash Recovery ROM. And as for when the Android 11 update will start rolling out, there’s currently no ETA. We don’t expect to have any, though, but the update should start rolling out very soon. That said, you should install the latest update for a seamless migration to Android 11.
