Xiaomi has released the Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G / Pro+ 5G Android 14 HyperOS update in India. It’s a limited rollout, exclusive to Mi Pilots members for preview. Of course, you can install the build manually if you have an authorized Mi Beta account.
It has been over two months since the Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G / Pro+ 5G Android 14 HyperOS update was released. The rollout started in China before making it to global users, while European users have also received the upgrade. As expected, those in India are getting the much-anticipated upgrade, which brings the latest Android OS and new features.
The current rollout is limited to Beta testers for preview, which might last two weeks. If the feedback is positive, the update will start seeding for everyone. However, you can install manually using the link below, but make sure you backup your data before installation. There have been issues of random reboot and boot loop problems after the HyperOS upgrade.
Meanwhile, the update is rolling out with a version OS1.0.1.0.UMOINXM and weighs 5.6GB. It comes with all the expected features but could only bump the Android security patch level to January 2024. We recommend installing the update as it introduced new features and optimized performance.
