Xiaomi seems to be rolling out the Android 14 HyperOS update to eligible phones in India. The Chinese company recently released the update to Redmi Note 12 Pro / Pro+ 5G, and now, the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G / POCO X6 5G Android 14 HyperOS has started seeding. As usual, it’s a limited release and will take time before arriving on all eligible phones.
Xiaomi HyperOS update has introduced new features, which include a new animation language, system fonts, and home screen icons. The update also revamped the control center, redesigned the weather app, optimized performance, and improved security. These features and more are available for the Redmi Note 13 Pro with the latest update.
However, only a few users are getting the update as Xiaomi has limited the rollout to Mi Pilot members. The preview will probably last for two weeks before the update will start rolling out for everyone. Those with an authorized Mi Beta account can download the Recovery ROM using the link below and install it manually, but we recommend backing up your data before installation.
There have been reports of bugs after upgrading to Android 14 with HyperOS. These problems include boot loop, random reboot, camera screen flickering, and others you can see here. We would recommend waiting for feedback before installing the update.
Meanwhile, the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G / POCO X6 5G Android 14 HyperOS update in India is seeding with a version number OS1.0.3.0.UNRIXM. You can check the updater app for the upgrade that bumps your OS to Android 14 and security patch level to February 2024.
