November security patch update now available for Mi Note 10/Pro as Redmi Y3 grabs a new update

Xiaomi is serious when it comes to software updates, and we have seen that these past few days. The Chinese OEM, to the surprise of everyone, recently started updating the Redmi Note 9 Pro to Android 11, and according to a new report, is working on rolling out the update to Redmi Note 8 and Note 8 Pro. That move will also see the Redmi Note 8T receive it as well as Mi CC9e. It’s unclear when the update will start seeding, but while we wait, the November security patch for Mi Note 10/Pro has been released.
The Redmi Y3 is also grabbing a new update, but it sans MIUI 12 and only brings the October security patch. It also improved system security and performance. The update will arrive on your device as MIUI 11.0.12.0 PFFINXM, which according to the software number, is for Indian users. As for the November security patch update for Mi Note 10/Pro, those on the Indonesia Branch of MIUI are the ones receiving a new update. However, we expect other regions to start getting the update in the coming days.
