Xiaomi has only one active Mi A-series device – Mi A3. The device debuted in July 2019, running stock Android Pie. As an Android One device, it automatically became eligible for three years of security support and two Android OS upgrades. The two Android OS upgrades have already been pushed while the device is currently on the last few months of its security support. As expected, they have released the October security patch for the Xiaomi Mi A3.
The Xiaomi Mi A3, for the past two years, has been receiving a security patch build as part of the Android One promise to address security vulnerabilities. Unfortunately, the device won’t get that Android 12 upgrade as it has already exhausted its Android OS support. However, for the remaining few months, the device continues getting Android security patch support.
The October security patch for the Xiaomi Mi A3 has just been released. It’s the global users that are getting a stable build. The update has a version number – V12.0.15.0 RFQMIXM – and weighs 40.56MB. As usual, it brings the October security patch to increase system security and stability. For now, only select users are getting the update, which will arrive for more people in the coming hours. However, we have added a link below this post for those that wish you flash the ROM manually.

The European variants of the Xiaomi Mi A3 are getting the October security patch. It has a version number – V12.0.13.0 RFQEUXM. It has bumped the Android security patch level to increase system security and stability. The update also addressed some issues and optimize performance.
