Being a Nigerian can be frustrating sometimes. You would not agree with that statement until you’ve tried making an international purchase online using your card and then discover that nothing is working. No, it’s not because you have 0 balance on your card, but the stringent policies one has to endure in the country make trading online a very big hassle. How then can we pay for stuff like YouTube Music subscriptions?

Youtube music subscription

Music is life, and I am sure we can all attest to that. Fortunately, YouTube Music has made it easier for music lovers to enjoy their favourite tunes whenever they want. This Google-owned service has a premium version though, and this version comes with several benefits including zero ads, offline downloads, and my favourite, background play.

To pay for the premium version, you will need a debit card but trust me, most Nigerian debit cards (if not all) will not work for this transaction. So what do you do? How do pay for your YouTube Music premium subscription right here in Nigeria? Enter Chipper Cash!

Chipper Cash is a mobile payment platform that allows users to send and receive money across Africa. It was founded in 2018 by two African entrepreneurs Ham Serunjogi and Maijid Moujaled. This payment platform is available in several African countries, including Nigeria, and supports various payment methods such as bank transfers, mobile money, and card payments.

Chipper Cash also offers debit cards to its users including a USD virtual one that allows for the payment of goods and services across the world.

In this guide, I will outline how you can pay for your YouTube Music subscription using the Chipper Cash USD card. Take a stroll with me.
