POCO F2 Pro specs
There’s a big improvement from the POCO F1 as it relates to the design. The company has employed a sturdy build engineered with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It has dished the LCD panel for an AMOLED display with the selfie snapper mounted on a motorized pop-up. At the back is a Quad-camera lens arranged in a round plate. Off the frame is the power and volume rocker key with the speaker grills, charging port, and headphone jack staying at their usual position.
There’s variety in the color option with the purple and Grey variant finished with an anti-glare matte, while the other two options are Blue and White to suit every personality.
POCO F2 Pro display
POCO F2 boasts of many impressive features that include the AMOLED display panel. No matter the time of the day, the device will output vibrant and detailed colors through the 6.67-inch display with 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio and brightness of 500nits (typ). There’s a 360° triple ambient light sensor to deliver accurate ambient light detection and smooth brightness adjustment to enhance the experience.
Improving the experience further, the display supports 180Hz sampling rate, TÜV Rheinland, HDR10+, DC dimming, and Sunlight Mode 2.0.
There’s an advanced color scheme setting that will allow users to incorporate their preferred flair in the display for a personalized experience. And to make sure every of this don’t go crashing with a single fall, there’s a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protect at both the front and back panel.
POCO F2 Pro performance
We are talking about up to 25% improvement from that of POCO F1 with Snapdragon 865 Octa-Core processor under the hood. From the Benchmark score released during the unveiling, it shows POCO F2 Pro outperformed the likes of OnePlus 8 Pro and Galaxy S20+. Thanks to the kryo 585 CPU and Adreno 650 GPU, complemented with a speedier LDDPR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.
Also, to make sure you always get peak performance, there’s a LiquidCool technology 2.0 with the largest vapor chamber ever. It keeps the device cool with the help of strategically placed NTC sensors, under heavy loads.
Outside-of-the-box, the POCO F2 Pro runs Android 10 on top MIUI 11. It also has the Poco launcher 2.0, an improved app drawer, automatic group feature, and system wide-dark mode.
POCO F2 Pro camera
At the center stage to deliver clear and detailed images is a 64MP Sony IMX 686 camera lens. It’s paired with a 13MP 113° ultra-wide angle lens for landscape and group shots while the 5MP and 2MP lens are there for the close-up shots and portrait effect. The camera supports 8K video shooting at 24fps and 64fps. There’s a Pro Mode that allows you to control focus and exposure on photos and videos. The technology lets users capture high-res images without the use of a DSLR or other pro cameras.
The 20MP selfie snapper, which is mounted on a mechanical pop-up takes exquisite shots as well. It supports slo-mo video recording at 120fps, beauty enhancement, and HDR.
Poco F2 Pro battery
Power demand isn’t the same again, and with more features comes a greater demand for power. To extend the experience is a 4700mAh capacity battery with support for swift 30W fast charging. Interestingly, the package ships with a 33W charger, which will deliver a fully charged battery in 63 minutes. Meanwhile, using the charger, you’d get a 50% battery in 30 minutes.
POCO F2 Pro security
Because the screen is now AMOLED, the fingerprint scanner was able to go under the display. It’s an optical sensor and will unlock your device in record time. The scanner is fast, secured, and will offer lots of improved experience.
