The POCO F3 GT arrived in India a couple of days ago, and it is only a reworked Redmi K40 Gaming Edition. Xiaomi released the latter in China a couple of weeks ago, under its Redmi sub-brand. It is the first game-centric device from the company, which has now arrived on the global market. However, it seems the device will be exclusive to Indians while other global regions get the POCO X3 GT. That looks like it, as the device’s latest update isn’t available in India.
Meanwhile, the first POCO F3 GT stable update has been released in India. It has a version number – MIUI 12.5.4.0 RKJINXM – and comes with the July security patch to increase system security and stability. As usual, the update has improved performance and fixed some lags. You’ll be able to download the update when you receive the POCO F3 GT and activate it. But if you have got the device already, you can check for the update via the updater app.

How to flash POCO F3 GT stable update via Recovery
First, you need to download the recovery ROM and then move it to your device’s internal memory. After, you should head to Updater App and click on the three dots on the top left. Click choose update package and select the ROM that you downloaded. The system will verify the ROM, and once the verification is completed, the flashing will commence. The new POCO F3 GT stable update is available with a version number MIUI 13.0.3.0 SKJINXM in India. It brings the May 2022 security patch to increase system security and stability. POCO F3 GT has received the Android 12-based MIUI 13 update in India. The device received a stable MIUI 13.0.1.0 SKJINXM build in that region a couple of days ago. As expected, it introduced features of MIUI 13 and Android 12, meaning there have been few additions and improvements. Check the full report here.

Ahead of the stable Android 12 release, Xiaomi has started pushing a new stable update to the POCO F3 GT units in India. The build is coming with a version number – MIUI 12.5.7.0 RKJINXM.
