Xiaomi has been rolling out that stable MIUI 13 update for the last few days. They’ve upgraded their premium phones of last year, while the Redmi K40 / POCO F3 and Mi 11 Lite 5G have picked the update. The POCO M3 will receive the update, but that should be much later. And while others are pushing the build with Android 12, POCO M3 will get a stable MIUI 13 based on Android 11. Meanwhile, the device has picked the MIUI 12.5 Enhanced update in India.
The POCO M3 MIUI 12.5 Enhanced update in India is a limited release. It’s exclusive to Mi Pilots, but we anticipate the public rollout to commence in the coming days. The update will arrive with a version number – MIUI 12.5.1.0 RJGINXM. It weighs in at 2.6GB, and looking at the changelog, it says “optimized system performance and improved system security and stability.”
Meanwhile, the update has introduced features of the MIUI 12.5 Enhanced update. They include – Atomized Memory, Liquid Storage, Focused Algorithm, and Smart Balance. Memory Extension feature is also part of the package while the Android security patch level has been increased to increase system security and stability.
