POCO partners with YouTube to give free premium subscriptions to its phone users

POCO continues to develop into a big brand, although they might just be another sub-brand from Xiaomi. The company has been claiming independence for years now, but their reworked Mi and Redmi phones still run MIUI on top of Android outside of the box. Also, they follow Xiaomi in everything they do with the recent development — a partnership with YouTube to give free subscriptions to its phone users.

POCO YouTube premium subscription

A couple of weeks ago, Xiaomi announced its partnership with YouTube to give its phone users a free YouTube Premium subscription. POCO has now gone the same path as they announce a partnership with the streaming company, which will give users of its recently released phone the option to enjoy YouTube and YouTube Music for a couple of months free.

Remember that POCO recently released the POCO M4 Pro and POCO X4 Pro devices a few days ago. While the latter runs a Snapdragon 5 G-enabled chipset, POCO equips the latter with a MediaTek processor. Both phones are eligible for the POCO free premium subscription from YouTube. This YouTube premium subscription will be valid for one year — from February 28, 2022, to January 31, 2023. If you purchase the device during this period, you’ll be able to redeem the offer.

Meanwhile, the free POCO premium YouTube subscription is for new members. If you’re using a premium subscription already, we doubt you would be eligible for this offer. Also, the availability of this offer may be region dependant, and hence, you should check if you’re eligible. For more information, you should check the official website page.
