POCO X3 Android 13 update available via LineageOS 20
After the announcement of LineageOS 20, which is based on Android 13, earlier in the month, extra support has been added for a select group of devices, so there will be a Poco X3 Android 13 update and other additional Xiaomi handsets as well.

LineageOS 20, one of the most popular third-party ROMs, offers a distinct version of Android 13 for devices that may not be able to run Google’s latest mobile operating system. One of the major changes is the introduction of a revamped default camera app called “Aperture.” The POCO X3 Android 13-based LineageOS 20’s changelog also includes the December 2022 security patch, which is just the beginning of the changes. As there are similarities between Android 12 and 13, the changes may not be significant.
Not only is the POCO X3 Android 13-based LineageOS 20 available but also that of Xiaomi Mi 6, Xiaomi Mi Mix 2, and SHIFT SHIFT6mq can now install LineageOS 20 and experience Android 13 on their devices now via the link at the end of the article. As with any third-party ROM, it is not recommended for everyone to install, but it could give an older device a new lease on life without any additional cost.
It is important to note that when installing LineageOS 20 on a Poco X3 or other Xiaomi devices, you will need to manually flash the Google apps (GApps) package to gain access to the Play Store and other Google services as they are not included in the ROM.
