Xiaomi is gearing up for the release of its next iteration of MIUI. The Chinese company is expected to release MIUI 13 sometime this month, and that’s probably why more phones have picked the current version of MIUI in the past weeks. According to reports, the POCO X3 Pro MIUI 12.5 Enhanced update in Europe has been released. Also, those in Taiwan are getting the update, but it’s a limited release.
The POCO X3 Pro MIUI 12.5 Enhanced update in Europe is seeding with a version number – MIUI 12.5.4.0 RJUEUXM. Those in Taiwan are getting a stable MIUI 12.5.3.0 RJUTWXM. As expected, the update brings features of the current version of MIUI – Atomized Memory, Liquid Storage, Smart Storage, and Focused Algorithm. According to Xiaomi, these features have improved performance while promising more life between charges.
Aside from the additions, the update has enabled the Memory Extension function that converts part of the internal storage into virtual RAM. The Android security patch level has been bumped to November 2021 to increase system security and stability. And as usual, the update has addressed some issues and optimized performance.
Meanwhile, the update will take time before making it’s to your device. Being an OTA release, it will take some time before the update goes around, starting with Mi Pilots. For stable beta testers, you can use the link below and download the ROM for manual installation.
