A few hours after the Redmi Note 10X Pro received the upgrade to Android 12 with a stable MIUI 13 update, the Redmi 10X 5G MIUI 13 update starts seeding. The update is currently available for limited users in China, with public rollout dependent on their feedback.
We are a few months from the Android 13 release, as Google targets an August or early September release. The company recently released the Android 13 beta 3 to reach platform stability, meaning there won’t be any changes to the version that will arrive later in the year. Xiaomi is participating in the test, but that hasn’t slowed the Android 12 rollout. The company looks to finalize the rollout before the Android 13 release and hence, has released the much anticipated Redmi 10X 5G MIUI 13 and Android 12 upgrades.
The update is seeding in China with a version number MIUI 13.0.2.0 SJHCNXM and weighs 3.4GB. It comes with all the expected features, including the new Mi Sans Font, improved privacy protection, and super Crystallization wallpaper, while the Mi AI is now customizable.
