The Redmi Note 9 4G has finally arrived in India. As expected, the device is named Redmi 9 Power for the Indian market. It’s the same device as the Chinese version (Redmi Note 9 4G) except for an additional macro sensor. On the back of the Redmi 9 power are a primary 48MP shooter, 8MP ultrawide angle-lens, 2MP depth, and macro shooters.
The device is available in midnight black, Fiery Red, Electric Green, and Blazing Blue. You can grab one for the variants on mi.com, Mi Home, Amazon, and official Xiaomi outlets starting at INR 10,999.
Meanwhile, this page is for Redmi 9 Power stable update. The device debuted running MIUI 12 on top of Android 10, which means it will receive the MIUI 12.5 update and hopefully the Android 11 update that has already arrived for a few people. There’s still no MIUI 12.5 or Android 11 for the Redmi 9 Power. Luckily, the global models have received both upgrades, and hence, we are optimistic the update will be available for Indians users in the coming weeks. Three months after the last update, a new Redmi 9 Power stable update has been released. It’s a security patch build as it sans the much-anticipated Android 11 and MIUI 12.5 builds. A new update is available for the Redmi 9 power, but sans both Android 11 and MIUI 12.5. It means both builds are not yet ready to start rolling out yet. How to flash Redmi 9 power stable update via Recovery method
Flashing Recovery ROM on Xiaomi phones is very easy, and everyone can do that successfully. However, make sure you download the correct ROM version of your device. After downloading the ROM, move it to the device’s internal memory and head to System Updates (updater app). Click on the three dots at the top right and select “choose update package,” and if it’s not there, you should head over to this link and reveal it.
