Redmi K30 Pro announced with 6.67-inch display, SD 865, along with a Zoom Edition

The rumors and leaks got so many things correct about the Redmi K30 Pro. As expected, the device debuted with a Zoom version. Both phones have the same design, but a different design compared to the regular Redmi K30 series. The design makes use of a motorized selfie pop up and a circular Quad rear camera arrangement instead.

The Redmi K30 Pro sports a 6.67-inch AMOLED display of 1080p resolution. The panel refreshes at 60Hz and supports 180Hz screen sensing. It can reach 1200nit brightness under the light. There’s no punched hole this time, but rather a motorized pop up is used for the camera to achieve a true full-view display.

At the back of the Redmi K30 Pro is a Quad-camera lens arranged in a circular plate. The Regular variant uses Sony 64MP IMX686 lens paired with a 13MP ultra-wide angle, 5MP macro, and 2MP depth sensor. Meanwhile, the Zoom Edition replaces the macro shooter with an 8MP telephoto lens with OIS. It supports 3x optical zoom and up to 30x hybrid zoom. Interestingly, both phones can comfortably record 8K videos.

Inside the Redmi K30 Pro now, there’s a Snapdragon 865 Octa-Core processor. It comes with dual-mode 5G connectivity, thanks to the Qualcomm X55 modem. The SoC can be paired with 6GB or 8GB RAM and 128GB or 256GB storage respectively. The storage makes use of fast UFS 3.1 while the RAM uses LDDPR5. Both phones support Wi-Fi 6, NFC, IR blaster, and headphone jack.

Powering the device is a 4700mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging via USB-C port. Outside of the box, you get Android 10 based on MIUI 11.
