The latest Xiaomi phone to start adopting the current Android OS is the Redmi K30S Ultra. That took some time, given that rebadged versions of the device sold in other regions received the update a couple of weeks ago. Recall that Xiaomi first debuted the device globally as Xiaomi Mi 10T before the Chinese release. The device is sold in China as Redmi K30S Ultra and is part of the device released in commemoration of the company’s tenth anniversary. According to reports, the device is now receiving the Android 11 update.
The Redmi K30S Ultra Android 11 update is hitting eligible users with a version number, MIUI 12.1.1.0 RJDCNXM. It is arriving via OTA and would take time before it appears on your device. But as usual, you can use the link below this post and download the ROM. Meanwhile, most times, flashing MIUI ROMs manually returns an error, meaning the rollout is limited to only a few people. In that case, you should give it some time and try after some days or wait for the OTA.
Note: this current Redmi K30S Ultra Android 11 update is the first cross-section Android upgrade being rolled out to the device. Hence, you should back up your data before installing the update in case a factory reset is required after upgrading the device. But that should be if you experience any bug or lag after installing the build, and aside from that, you should continue using your device without a factory reset.
