Xiaomi sub-brand, Redmi, recently released its first-ever gaming smartphone. The device impressed, as it ticks all the boxes of a basic gaming phone. It features a tall 6.67-inch OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and 480Hz touch sampling. The device has a massive 5065mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging. It takes 42 minutes for a full charge from 0, which can go for days on a decent usage. Thanks to the improved heat dissipation technology, which consists of graphene, graphite, and vapor chamber.
On the software side, the device is the first Xiaomi phone to run MIUI 12. 5 outside-of-the-box on top of Android 11. It has since received its first stable update to improve performance and stability. The update, of course, is rolling out in China. There’s no official news if the device will be coming to the global market. However, there’s a chance we’ll see the phone debut as POCO F3 GT on the global market.
