Xiaomi has started rolling out the Redmi Note 11 5G HyperOS update in China. It’s a limited release for Mi Pilots members to Preview the ROm before it starts seeding for the public. However, you can download the Recovery ROM and flash it manually with an authorized Mi Beta account.

The past few days have seen the Redmi Note 11 series phones pick up the HyperOS upgrade. Unfortunately, these phones are not getting a new OS upgrade, as they have elapsed their OS support. Nevertheless, HyperOS has introduced some interesting features, and we recommend installing the update when prompted.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 5G HyperOS update is rolling out in China with the version number OS1.0.1.0.TGBCNXM. It comes with all the expected features while bumping the Android security patch level to February 2024 to increase system security and stability. 

While waiting for the update, ensure your bootloader is locked, otherwise you will not receive the OTA. Also, back up your data before installation, as some reported HyperOS bugs can be fixed with a factory reset. Those with an authorized Mi Beta account can install the update using the links below.

The Redmi Note 11 5G HyperOS update is now rolling out to those in India. It’s the same device as the Redmi Note 11T 5G. You will get the update with a version number OS1.0.1.0.TGBINXM. There’s no Android 14 but you get some new features and system optimizations. Download here: Recovery.
