More phones are upgrading to Android 12 with MIUI 13 as Xiaomi prepares for Android 13. The Chinese company has rolled out the Android 12-based MIUI 13 update to the Redmi Note 11 series phones in the last couple of days, with Redmi Note 11 NFC Android 12 the latest to start rolling out.
Xiaomi released the Redmi Note 11 NFC pre-installed with Android 11 on top of MIUI 12.5, making the device eligible for Android 12 and MIUI 13. It was a matter of time before the upgrades started seeding, but it has taken till now for them to release it. The global users are now getting the much-anticipated update alongside expected features.
The Redmi Note 11 NFC Android 12 update has a version number MIUI 13.0.2.0 SGKMIXM and weighs 2.7G. It brings a stable MIUI based on Android 12 and bumps the Android security patch level to June 2022. Supposedly, system security and stability have improved while bugs are fixed and performance optimized.
Meanwhile, we recommend backing up your data before installing the update, as it’s a cross-section Android upgrade. It’s likely to contain bugs, which might require a factory reset.

The Redmi Note 11 NFC Android 12 update has now arrived for devices in Europe, Indonesia and Russia. It’s seeding with version numbers MIUI 13.0.1.0 SGKEUXM, MIUI 13.0.1.0 SGKIDXM, and MIUI 13.0.1.0 SKGRUXM. As expected, the update brings a stable MIUI based on Android 12, new security patch, optimizations and bug fixes. You can download the recovery ROM by clicking on the version numbers.
