The device recently arrived on the global market, and even with the stable Android 12 and MIUI 13 already available, it still runs Android 11 outside of the box. Earlier in the year, Xiaomi released a Redmi Note 11 Pro+ update to the closed beta testers in China that brought Android 12 with MIUI 13, but that has eluded stable ROM users till now.

However, with the Android 12-based MIUI 13 available for a few people, Xiaomi will soon bring the upgrade to more users. Also, the company has been sending out Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G stable updates in recent times, both for global and Chinese users. We believe the development would be to fortify the device ahead of the future upgrades, starting with MIUI 13.
