More devices have picked the Android 12 update in the last couple of days as Xiaomi plans to finalize the distribution. They are now upgrading the Redmi Note 11S globally but exclusive to Mi Pilots for preview.
Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 11S early this year pre-installed, with Android 11 on top of MIUI 13. With that, it was a matter of time before the device starts getting Android 12, and according to reports, the global Redmi Note 11S Android 12 update has been released.
The update is seeding with a version number MIUI 13.0.5.0 SKEMIXM and weighs 2.8GB. It brings a stable MIUI based on Android 12 while bumping the Android security patch level to July 2022. Supposedly, the update has introduced new features, improved performance and stability.
