The Redmi Note 8 Pro Android 10 has been rolling out for both the EU and Indian ROM users for some time now. It started arriving on Global units a few weeks ago with a build number MIUI 11.0.1.0 QGGMIXM and weighs 2.0GB. Coming along with the update is an updated android security patch, but unfortunately, it is for February t. However, on the flip side, it comes with Netflix HD standard support. And if you experience any issue in the Netflix app after the upgrade, clear the app data and cache.
The update is a staged rollout, which is apparently why some users are just getting it, while more are still waiting. We recommend you wait for the OTA and simply upgrade via the Updater app to avoid any issue. On the contrary, we have provided a link from where you can manually download the Redmi Note 8 Pro Android 10 ROM.

Meanwhile, from the user’s feedback, the update is smooth but there’s a bug affecting the Netflix app. On launching the app returns 1001 error ” sorry we could not reach the Netflix service. Please try again later“. The easiest way to fix the bug is to clear the app cache and data, but it doesn’t seem to work for some people. Also, you can try uninstalling the app and reinstalling it again, if you’re facing the same problem and see if the bug is fixed.
If none of the above fixes worked on your device, then head over to the source link and see other recommendations that might fix the bug for you. Also, if you’re able to overcome the issue, let us know how you did via the comment section.
