Redmi Note 9 Pro and POCO X3 NFC receive MIUI 14 update in Europe

Xiaomi is still upgrading eligible phones to MIUI 14 as the update arrives in Europe for the Redmi Note 9 Pro and POCO X3 NFC. Both devices got the update globally about two months ago without a new OS upgrade. As expected, the European release is without the Android 13 upgrade, currently limited to a few users. 

The Redmi Note 9 Pro received the stable MIUI 14 update a couple of weeks ago and was limited to global models till now. It’s also the case with POCO X3 NFC, but the update is now available for download in Europe. 

Eligible users are getting the stable MIUI 14 update in Europe with version numbers MIUI 14.0.4.0 SJZEUXM (Redmi Note 9 Pro) and MIUI 14.0.4.0 SJGEUXM (POCO X3 NFC). The update weighs a bit more than 400MB and comes with all the expected features.

Of course, it is sans the Android 13 upgrade as the device has already elapsed its OS support. However, it has introduced new features, which include Photon Engine, Super Icons, New Widget Format, and others. Also, the update has resolved bugs and improved performance, although some issues are being reported after the MIUI 14 upgrade.

Again, the update is limited to a few users till after the beta preview is completed.
