Xiaomi has released the list of devices to receive the Enhanced Edition of MIUI 12.5 with the third batch of the rollout. We believe that the last phase of the rollout, given that it’s expected to reach all eligible phones by next month. That’s in time for the unveiling of MIUI 13, which the internal testing for premium Xiaomi phones has already started. However, there are still a few weeks before the update arrives for the closed beta group, perhaps, next month after the official unveiling. And if that’s the case, we expect a swift rollout of the current version of MIUI. Perhaps, they’re improvements to address issues being faced by Mi fans. They include Atomized Memory, Liquid Storage, Focused Algorithm, and Smart Balance. According to the update log, these features have supposedly improved performance speed and promise more life between charges.
Interestingly, the update brought the much-anticipated Memory Extension feature. For starters, the function converts part of the internal storage to virtual RAM.
