Xiaomi has started the release of the Redmi Pad SE Android 14 HyperOS update to Global users. The device is on the official list of phones to receive HyperOS in H1 2024, and as expected, the update is now rolling out. However, only a few users are getting the upgrade, with a public release anticipated in the coming weeks.
It has been a few weeks since the Redmi Pad received the HyperOS update, and now, the Redmi Pad SE Android 14 HyperOS update is rolling out. The update brings all the expected features, including a new animation language, new system fonts and Homescreen icons, storage refresh technology, and more.
Aside from the new introductions, the update has bumped the Android security patch level to February 2024 to increase system security and stability. Of course, it brings a stable HyperOS based on Android 14 alongside features of the new OS.
The update is rolling out for Mi Pilots members, who will preview the build for a few weeks. Depending on their feedback, Xiaomi may start rolling out the update to everyone. You can install the update using the link below, but we recommend backing up your data before installation.
