Samsung finally start rolling out Oreo update to Galaxy S8
Samsung Galaxy S8 gets Oreo. A new update with version number SM-G955XXU1CRAP, is currently hitting Samsung Galaxy S8 unit in Germany. The update is a major one, which comes along with the much anticipated Android 8.0 Oreo, for both Galaxy S8 /S8+.
The update will first hit those that participated in the beta program and will eventually make its way to other users. Also, the update will likely get to other regions, but when is what is unknown at the moment. The good thing is that Samsung has finally started rolling the update after so many lab programs, making it seem like we were going to wait for eternity for the update.
There will also be a Samsung experience 9.0 onboard with some trilling features, which includes a new keyboard, enhancement to Bixby, Color lens for the display and whole lots of other amazing features. Along with all these, you will also bump your security patch level to February once you download the new update.
