Samsung will soon start rolling out a stable Android 14 update to its flagship phones. The Korean company will release the update for the Galaxy S23 series first, but it won’t take long till it arrives on the Galaxy Z Flip 5.
With Pixel phones now running stable Android 14 and some OEMs already releasing a “stable beta” build to their eligible phones, Samsung is also making plans to release the update in the stable channel. However, it will take a bit longer before the update arrives for Galaxy Z Flip 5 users, with the device only getting its first Android 14 based on the One UI 6 beta update.
The Galaxy Z Flip 5 Android 14 beta update is seeding with a firmware version F73U1EU1ZWJ2. It’s currently exclusive to US carrier-locked variants, but we expect more units, including the unlocked phones, to start getting the update soon. Meanwhile, those in the US can head to the Samsung Members app and register to receive the update.

Android 14 brings some improvements and bug fixes, which Samsung has integrated with One UI 6. The update brings a slew of new features to Samsung phones, including a new quick-settings design, a reworked notification panel, new widgets, One UI Sans font, and more.
To download the update on your Galaxy Z Flip 5, visit the Samsung Members app and click on the One UI 6 logo. Complete your registration using your Samsung account details, and once successful, you will get the update via Settings>>Software update>>Download and Install.
Meanwhile, the latest build is a beta build, meaning it might contain bugs and glitches. We don’t recommend installation on a daily driver but wait for a stable release, which will start seeding in the coming weeks.
