The POCO X3 NFC has only been around for thirteen months. It debuted in September 2021, running Android 10 on top of MIUI 12, making it eligible for Android 11 and MIUI 12.5. Both have been delivered, while it’s currently unclear if the device will get the Android 12 update. However, it’s in line with the Enhanced Edition of MIUI 12.5, which the second phase is already underway. The build has reached the Global Redmi 9T and Redmi Note 9T, and we expect the POCO X3 NFC to pick up the update soon. Ahead of the release, the September security patch has been released with multiple bug fixes.
Xiaomi has released the September security patch for POCO X3 NFC globally. It’s the second MIUI 12.5 build seeding for the device. For now, only Mi Pilots are getting the 623MB package with a version number – MIUI 12.5.3.0 RJGMIXM. The update has bumped the September security patch level to increase system security and stability. It addressed multiple bugs and optimized system performance.
You can check for the update via the updater app or use the links below to download. However, it might return an error, and that means you should give the update some time. Perhaps, you should wait for that OTA, which is expected to go round in the coming days. And as for when the Enhanced Edition of MIUI 12.5 will be released, there’s no ETA yet. However, since the second phase is underway, we expect POCO X3 NFC to get the update in the coming weeks.
