Xiaomi is now seeding the September security patch for Redmi Note 10, with a similar changelog to MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition. Unfortunately, the update won’t be released for the device, but the bug fixes that arrived along is seeding for the Redmi Note 10 with the recent update. The update is live in India and for global users and will make its way to other regions in the coming days or weeks. The September security patch for Redmi Note 10 is seeding in India with a version number – MIUI 12.5.2.0 RKGINXM – and weighs 337MB. Global users are receiving the same update but with a different version number – MIUI 12.5.3.0 RKGMIXM. Arriving with the update is an updated Android security patch level and increased system security. Issues with using Face unlock together with Fingerprint crashing in some cases have been fixed. Also, lock screen notifications disappearing after calls and animations not displayed correctly for cleaner apps have been resolved.
As said earlier in this post, the update is exclusive to Mi Pilots. It will start making its way to the public after few days of testing, but you can download it via the link below.
