After a series of beta tests, Samsung is now rolling out the stable Android 13-based OneUI 5. The update is currently hitting the flagship Galaxy S22 series in some parts of Europe, and we expect the distribution in other regions soon.

Samsung, among other OEMs, has been testing Android 13 based on their in-house Android skin for some time. The South Korean tech giant started with its Galaxy S22 series phones, and after the fifth beta, announced the stable Android 13-based OneUI 5 will start seeding at month’s end. 

According to reports, the much-anticipated stable Android 13-based OneUI 5 update is now rolling out. Supposedly, the rollout started in Italy, although it didn’t participate in the beta tests. Of course, the Galaxy S22, S22 Plus, and S22 Ultra are all receiving the build with a version number ending with BVJ4.

At the time of this report, the update is said to be available in Europe, Italy to be precise. We expect it to become available in other countries and regions in the coming days. However, you can check for the update by navigating to settings>> software update>>Download and install.

Samsung has finally released the much-anticipated Android 13-based OneUI 5 update in the US. The update is available for the Galaxy S22, S22 Plus, and S22 Ultra with a version number S90xU1UEU2BVJA. You should check the update via setting to update your device.

Update: October 24, 2022

Samsung has extended the stable Android 13-based OneUI 5 update to the Galaxy S22 series phones in South Korea. The update is hitting eligible users with a software firmware version S901NKSU2BVJA and weighs 3.3GB. Of course, it comes with all the expected features along with the October 2022 security patch. You can check for the update if you’re using the Galaxy S22 series.
