The POCO F1 was expected to receive its first Stable Beta MIUI 12 update a couple of weeks after the Mi Pilots for the device were selected. However, due to some bugs and system stability issues, the update was postponed a couple of times. Two days ago, it was alleged that the update will finally start arriving this month, which has now turned out to be true. The first Stable Beta MIUI 12 update for Poco f1 has just been released.
For now, only the selected users who enrolled in Beta testing will receive the update. They’re expected to preview the ROM and report any bug, which the developers must have missed. After the beta preview, and in the absence of any serious bug, the general public will start receiving the update. And going by the previous rollouts, the beta preview will last for 2-3 weeks, but we have seen a situation were it took last just a week.
Meanwhile, the Stable Beta MIUI 12 update for POCO F1 is hitting eligible devices in a 789MB sized package, with a version number, MIUI 12.0.0.3 QEJMIXM. On the changelog is just two changes: Updated Android security patch to July 2020 and Improved system security. But aside from that, Dark Mode 2.0, Floating Windows, Revamped System UI, New system Animation, among other MIUI 12 features came along with the build.
Of course, the update will also arrive in batches. Hence, if you were among the selected users to test the update and you haven’t received the first stable Beta MIUI 12 update for POCO F1 yet, you should exercise some patience.
