The Redmi K30 Ultra was released in August to commemorate Xiaomi’s tenth anniversary alongside the Mi 10 Ultra. The duo debuted with Android 10 on top of MIUI 12, making them eligible for MIUI 12.5 and Android 11. A couple of months ago, Xiaomi released Android 11 for the Mi 10 Ultra, which has also bagged the MIUI 12.5 update. Of course, it’s a Chinese release as the phones didn’t arrive in the global market. And as expected, they have started pushing a stable update that brings both Android 11 and MIUI 12.5 to the Redmi K30 Ultra.
Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra received Android 11 and MIUI 12.5 update separately, but the Redmi K30 Ultra is getting both builds simultaneously. That probably a smart move after all the complaints from earlier adopters of the Android 11 update. However, few bugs have persisted, especially one that won’t allow third-party launchers. But with MIUI 12.5, Xiaomi has improved many things to make operations with your device faster and smoother. Also, response to gestures are now instant, and with custom device model adjustments, your Redmi K30 Ultra becomes faster after the upgrade.
