Today, Xiaomi debuted the successor of the Mi 10 Ultra, Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra, in China. The device debuted with Android 11 on top of MIUI 12.5 to officially start the rollout. Surprisingly, the stable MIUI 12.5 update for the Mi 10 Ultra has started seeding in China ahead of schedule. It was expected to arrive next month, but it seems Xiaomi developers are ahead of schedule as they start rolling out the update to few Mi 10 Ultra users at the moment.
As usual, it is a Stable Beta build, and you should back up your data before installing the update. It comes with features of MIUI 12.5, which includes a haptic feedback system. The feature arrived for the Beta group a couple of weeks ago, and it seems the public can now enjoy it. Of course, the system is now lighter, faster, and more durable, which was the main focus of the new iteration of MIUI. However, only those using the Mi 10 Ultra will get the update for now, but since the rollout has started already, it won’t be long till it gets to other device users.
Meanwhile, the MIUI 12.5 update for the Mi 10 Ultra has a version number – MIUI 12.5.1.0 RJJCNXM – and weighs in at 4.1GB – the full Recovery. You can check for the update via system updates or use the link below and download manually. But in most instances, it will return an error message, meaning you don’t have an authorized Mi Account. You can by-pass the restriction using a compatible TWRP Recovery or wait for the OTA.
