The MIUI 12 rollout is far from completion, with so many users still anxiously waiting for the update. A couple of days ago, the global users of the Mi 8 started receiving the update, which was later rolled out to the Pro models. And now, the stable MIUI 12 update for Mi 8 and Mi 8 Pro has been released for the Russian users. However, the update, for now, is still in the beta phase, and as such, only limited users are going to receive it, but we expect the public rollout to commence soon.
The update, meanwhile, is arriving with a build number, MIUI 12.0.1.0 QEARUXM, for the Mi 8 users, and on the Mi 8 Pro, it’s coming as MIUI 12.0.1.0 QEDRUXM. The stable MIUI 12 update for Mi 8 and Mi 8 Pro, of course, comes with all the features of MIUI 12, including the super wallpaper feature. Aside from the new features, the update also arrives with bug fixes and optimization. The new control center got new gesture control while a new mode has been added to the camera for scanning documents. It also bumped the security patch to the latest version as well as improved system security. You can either wait for the update to arrive OTA or make use of the link below.
Note: you might get an error message trying to flash the recovery ROM. That’s normal, just give it some days and try again.
