Again, the device has similar development with the Mi Mix 3, which is currently receiving a stable MIUI 12 update, having received the MIUI 11 last year. We believe Xiaomi intentionally abandoned the Mix 3 5G, probably because it didn’t sell out.
Meanwhile, the stable MIUI 12 update for Mi Mix 3 has been seen arriving for the units in China. It’s coming in an 824MB sized package and with a version number, MIUI 12.0.1.0 QEECNXM.
Arriving with the update is an update Android security patch for July, improved system security, bug fixes, and system optimization. Also, all the features of MIUI 12, which include Super Wallpaper, Dark Mode, New System Animation, Revamped System UI, Enhanced Privacy, Floating Windows, New camera Functions, and Unify Font.

The stable MIUI 12 update for Mi Mix 3 is still arriving for the device in China and will start appearing on Global units any moment from now.
