It has been an eventful past couple of months for Xiaomi with the deployment of its latest Android skin – MIUI 12. Thus far, most of their premium and high-end smartphones have already received the update, but due to the nature of OTAs, some regions have to wait, which is the case of the stable MIUI 12 update for Mi Note 10 in Europe.
As usual, the Mi CC9 Pro – the Chinese version of the device, first picked the update a couple of weeks ago. After some days, it was released for the Global users, and now, the European variants start getting the update as well.
The update is coming along with some amazing features, which include Floating Windows, New System Animation, Revamped System UI, New Camera functions, Dark Mode, and Ultra battery saver. And if the Super Wallpaper isn’t compatible with your device, you can get it working with this guide.
Meanwhile, the update has a build number, ‘MIUI 12.0.1.0 QFDEUXM’, and weighs in at 855MB. It has bumped the Android security patch level, improved system security, fixed bugs, and optimized system performance.
Of course, it will be released in batch, meaning it will take some time before appearing on all eligible units (running the latest and official MIUI ROM). However, you can always download the update manually and flash using the recovery method.
