The POCO F2 Pro is the successor of the popular Pocophone F1, which was launched back in 2018. Although the company gained autonomy early this year, they still rely heavily on the parent company, Xiaomi. One of the few things the company benefits from Xiaomi, aside from rebadging their phones, is the MIUI Android skin. The POCO F2 Pro debuted with Android 10 based on MIUI 11, making it eligible for both Android 11 and MIUI 12, of which both have been released for the device.
However, the Android 11 update for the device is still on the Beta phase, but the stable MIUI 12 update for POCO F2 Pro is what has been released. The update has been arriving for selected users and is now released for the general public. Depending on the Region, you can now download the recovery ROM and flash. Luckily, you won’t need to unlock the device bootloader, but by heading to system updates, click on the three dots at the top right, select an update package and then select the ROM you downloaded below.
