Xiaomi announced the Redmi K30 in Q4 of 2019 with Snapdragon 730G SoC. Early this year, they introduced the 5G variant that uses SD 765G while the Pro variant makes use of SD 865. They all run stable Android 10 based on MIUI 11 outside-of-the-box and are now getting the new MIUI 12 Custom ROM via OTA.
Currently getting a stable MIUI 12 update, is the Redmi K30 5G. The update is arriving with a build number, MIUI 12.0.1.0 QGICNXM. It comes along with all the features of MIUI 12, which include DarK mode 2.0, New Camera Functions, New system Animation, Unify Font, Enahnace Privacy, AI calls, and Floating windows.
The stable MIUI 12 update for Redmi K30 5G, for now, is arriving for the Chinese variant. It should be available for global users in the next few weeks.
